About The Event
Strategic and Integrated Performance Management (SIPM)
“Performance management is a strategy that relates to every activity of the organisation set in the context of its policies, culture, style and communication systems. As such it establishes shared understandings about what is to be achieved and an approach to leading and developing people that will ensure it will be achieved.”
Armstrong and Baron: CIPD
“Performance management is a strategic and proactive partnership between employees and management that helps employees perform at their best and align their contributions with the goals, values and initiatives of the organisation.”
American Management Association
Performance management is strategic because it’s about vision, broad issues and long-term goals and it is integrated because it’s about linking all aspects of the business, people management, individuals and teams.
This event will give managers and leaders the ability to view the performance management process as one integrated to all aspects of an organisations development and one which should contribute to the strategic vision and values of the business.
Who will benefit: This workshop is aimed at managers, leaders and HR professionals who wish to continue use performance for organisational development.
The five lenses:
• Definitions of strategic and integrated performance management
• Contribution to the Learning Organisation
• Performance management as critical reflective practice
• 7 questions that managers can use to evaluate their own performance management performance
• The use of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs in the performance management process
Cost: £75 per delegate. This event can be tailored to your specific needs and delivered as an in-house event.
